My journey to becoming a dentist was deeply personal. Having had polio as a child, I was inspired to help children as I was once helped. I wanted to build long-term relationships with both children and their families, creating a foundation of trust and care that lasts a lifetime.

I’ve been practicing dentistry for over 53 years, focusing on pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. My expertise lies in creating a nurturing and caring environment where both children and parents feel comfortable and confident about the child’s dental care.

What Makes My Practice Unique

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to providing a highly supportive and welcoming environment. I take pride in seeing children grow up enjoying their dental experiences, and I’m honored to have cared for over 2,600 second-generation patients. Watching these families thrive and entrusting me with their care brings me immense joy.

Awards, Leadership, and Contributions

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, including:

  • Chairing the Dental Health Committee for the Greater Houston Dental Association.
  • Serving as President, Treasurer, and Secretary for various pediatric dentistry organizations.
  • Holding emeritus status at Texas Children’s Hospital and Houston Northwest Medical Center.

I’ve also been invited to speak at numerous dental organizations, sharing my knowledge and passion for pediatric dentistry.

Community Involvement

Giving back to the community has always been a priority for me. I support local schools and their programs and have volunteered hundreds of hours at the San Jose Clinic in Houston.

My Philosophy on Patient Care

My approach to care is simple: treat every person the way I would want to be treated. I believe in respecting individuals regardless of their economic circumstances and fostering behaviors that uphold this belief. Honesty and gentle, high-quality care are at the core of everything I do.
